About this deal

The book is an emotional, touching story about a young girl who fell in love with the right person at, the wrong time, whilst having to watch her mum go through domestic abuse. Then, around 10 years after, this same girl meets a man who she thinks is the one until he commits violent actions towards her- but does it all start to look better when she runs into a familiar face from 10 years ago… Love. Discovering it, giving it, receiving it, falling in it, living in it, leaving for it.” The Book Review Colleen Hoover takes us on a whole new emotional rollercoaster, this time, switching between the perspective of Atlas and Lily as they navigate friendship, love and a very jealous ex-husband... It starts with us by Colleen Hoover is taking over the internet right now- but is it worth it? The book prequel- It ends with us- took over TikTok in early 2022, but has been popular for long before that, but It starts with us ruining Hoover’s reputation, or even worse, is it downgrading it ends with us? So it's rather disappointing that this story didn't do anything for me. There was no emotional punch, no compelling conflict. It took me days longer to read this than I anticipated because I didn't feel any pull to keep going. And now having finished this, I'm already unable to point to a single memorable moment because there honestly weren't any.

Experience the romantic and satisfying conclusion to Colleen Hoover's powerful global bestselling novel, It Ends with Us.Not to mention the fact that Lily’s closest friends are Ryle’s sister and his best friend; it is close to impossible to heal from abuse when you are still in such close proximity to your abuser. The way Allysa and Marshall talk about Ryle as if he’s a little kid who just gets mean sometimes, instead of the violent wife beater and attempted rapist that he is, is so strange…. Maybe I’m the weird one, but if someone I “love like a brother” were to push their partner down the stairs and bite them so hard they bled, I simply wouldn’t love them like a brother anymore! Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place. With that being said; I read It Ends With Us in 2016. I truly loved how it ended, I thought it was the end. I did not ever expect it starts with us and yet I could not think of what a beautiful and necessary addition this is. atlas writing lily letters and saying “i love you” in a thousand different ways to offset ryle’s character…balance doesn’t work like that. It Starts With Us tells Atlas' side of the story and promises to explore events beyond the ending of the first book. About the author

To mark publication date on the 10th January, we engaged 100 Italian-based Bookstagrammers and BookTokers, with a collective follower count of over 400,000, to take part in a 100-participant Readalong. To better understand the plot and characters in It Starts with Us, it is best to first read the previous one. Release Date and Publisher Allysa in particular was extremely annoying in this book. “Why would Ryle hate Atlas if you didn’t cheat on him 🥺🥺” idk girl maybe it’s because he’s abusive, which you have known for years now! The whole “me cheating on my husband doesn’t count because I was 19 ✨” thing was also???????????Colleen Hoover is a popular romance novel author from America. Perhaps you have read her best-selling book It Ends with Us and now want to enjoy the sequel It Starts with Us. The sequel or book 2 also takes so many readers by storm. Are you eager to know what comes next in the novel? Whether you are an ebook or a printed book fan, this article might cover everything you’re interested in. my theory still stands: colleen hoover, ironically, cannot write a good romance. i believe every single one of her books has these terrible, wild plot twists to cover up the fact that she cannot. lily and atlas had zero chemistry apart from them talking about how miserable they were when they first met and how they were each other’s saving grace. Before It Ends with Us, it started with Atlas. Colleen Hoover tells fan favourite Atlas’s side of the story and shares what comes next in this long-anticipated sequel to It Ends with Us.

In a departure from It Ends With Us, where Lily was the sole narrator, the sequel alternates between both characters’ perspectives Theo making fun of Atlas was funny, I actually loved that because THE KEEP SWIMMING LINE WAS CORNY AS SHIT I DON’T CAREAs questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened. i swore i’d never read another coho book, but it ends with us was the only one i could somewhat stomach so i decided to read it starts with us to see how it was.
